The Centre Pompidou in Paris is currently hosting Paris Noir: Artistic Circulations and Anti-Colonial Resistance, 1950–2000, an exhibition running from March 19 to June 30, 2025. This significant showcase highlights the presence and influence of Black artists in France during the latter half of the 20th century, featuring works by 150 artists from Africa, the Americas, and the Caribbean—many of which are being exhibited in France for the first time.
