Shinique Smith continues to explore themes
of beauty, commerce and spirituality by presenting new works that highlight points
where these ideas meet and combine without shame. Paintings, collage, sculpture
and site-specific interventions transform the gallery space into free flowing
environments in which viewers are invited to spend time, reflect and perhaps “change”
within them.
