From BlackArtistNews:
In a Q&A published in the July 2011 issue of Juxtapoz magazine, actor Billy Dee Williams applies solid strokes of old school charm as he paints himself and his visual art production with a perfect mix of candor and intelligence. There's also a feature on James Franco in the same issue and it would be super cool if Williams became his mentor. The younger Hollywood actor's immature attempts at developing a serious art practice could use some serious guidance. Mr. Williams on the other hand, allows one to appreciate the metaphorical reality of a fine actor who's also a fine artist. In fact, his mastery of each craft tips the scale from metaphor to definition. After all, art means many things to many people and Williams -- as a seasoned actor -- has been many things to many people.
