From Papillion
press release:
Papillion’s
new exhibit Garden City features new works by Noah Davis. Garden City is based
on the Pueblo del Rio community in Los Angeles, built by Richard Neutra, Paul
R. Williams and others in 1941. Davis explains, “the paintings represent the
potential of art and performance in a low income community.” The Los Angeles
based painter is known for his large-scale figurative canvases. This exhibit
marks his Leimert Park debut.
